COOKSCAMP 2025 – CODE OF CONDUCT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: BY PARTICIPATING IN COOKSCAMP 2025 YOU ARE EXPECTED TO COMPLY WITH THIS POLICY OF CONDUCT TO ENSURE A SAFE AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL IN ATTENDANCE.

 

COOKSCAMP 2025 is dedicated to a harassment-free and all-inclusive industry event. In order to do so, COOKSCAMP 2025 requires that all participants, staff, vendors and volunteers are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all people.

The following actions will result in a WARNING and/or IMMEDIATE EJECTION from the festival:

  • Offensive or abusive language
  • Obscene or offensive gestures
  • The participation in an activity that is insulting or harmful to oneself and/or fellow guests
  • Violence or engaging in any harmful behaviour to self or others
  • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property
  • Disrespecting or damaging the grounds, urination or defecation in the river and/or outside of a proper public restroom
  • The possession of alcohol
  • The possession, or sale of illegal substances
  • Accessing restricted areas without adequate credentials
  • Creating potential fire risks

Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be IMMEDIATELY removed from the event grounds and have their event wristband and parking/camping privileges revoked, without refund. Law enforcement may be notified.

Please contact securityif you believe you’ve observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and COOKSCAMP 2025 will work to assess the situation and to respond as soon as possible. Please remember that notifying COOKSCAMP 2025 does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement.

Everyone- Reusable plate, fork, knife, spoon (we aim to be as sustainable as possible so asking everyone to bring their own), Reusable cup (for hot and cold beverages – **no glass), water bottle, rain gear, layers for the weather, hat, good outdoor shoes (COOKCAMP  is on a working farm), sunscreen, sunglasses, bug spray, small flashlight or headlamp, one chefs knife and a pairing knife, basket/bucket (if you want to partake in Foraging workshop), battery pack for your phone/electronics, a good attitude- open mind.

Campers- tent, sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping pad or foamy, extra blankets, towel, earplugs, flashlight, toiletries

COOKSCAMP tickets are:

General Admission $300 + taxes

General Admission with 2-nights camping $340 + taxes

Includes: Seminars and workshops on September 10  & 11, 2025 (see itinerary), dinner on September 10 & 11, lunch on September 10 & 11, breakfast on September 11 & 12, opportunity to interact with industry colleagues to make long lasting connections that are invaluable in our industry.

North Arm Farm has a lot of parking available for attendees, please be respectful of the farm and other people.

We do recommend car-pooling whenever possible.

Day passes may be possible closer to the event depending on ticket sales.

North Arm Farm is a non-smoking property (including use of e-cigarettes and vapes).

No, our liquor license will not permit outside liquor to be brought in by attendees. Any outside liquor found by our staff will have to be discarded.

Because the event is on the grounds of a working farm, no pets are permitted on the property.

Rain or shine, the event is on.

Tickets are non refundable but they can be given to another member of the industry who can attend in your place.
