Breakfast – Day 2 – Les Dames d’Escoffier of BC

Enjoy some coffee while you wake up amongst the outdoor kitchen. Les Dames d’Escoffier of BC members will prepare a hearty meal for attendees to get their day started off on the right foot!

Presenters:

Lesley Stav – Les Dames d’Escoffier & NVICA

Chef Lesley Stav is a Red Seal Chef and a member of Les Dames d’Escoffier-BC Chapter. She is on the Executive Board of Les Dames and on Les Dames Scholarship Committee.
She is on the BC Skills Competition Technical Committee and a Director on the BC Culinary Arts Foundation. She is also a member of the BC Chefs Table Society.
As well, Chef Stav is currently Chair of the North Vancouver Island Culinary Association. She is also the Culinary Federation Ethics Chair and sits on the CF National Board.
Chef Stav most recently received the Distinguished Alumni Award-2024 from Camosun College for all her work in the culinary industry.

Mandy Newcomb – Les Dames d’Escoffier

Chef Mandy Newcomb instructs the Professional Cook Program at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George and is an alumnus of the Program. She has been in the Industry for 32 years and loves to travel and hike.

Jenice Yu – Les Dames d’Escoffier

Jenice Yu has helped shape BC’s seafood culture through her commitment to sustainability, quality, and community connection since 2008. Supplying the province’s top chefs and educating home cooks, she has inspired a deeper appreciation for responsible seafood across BC. As Vice President of Les Dames d’Escoffier BC, Jenice champions mentorship and the advancement of women in hospitality. Her dedication continues to influence how British Columbians source, prepare, and enjoy seafood with care.
