Olivier Andreini, CMC
Master Chef Olivier Andreini is the principal consultant & owner at Crossbow Consulting where he blends his 5 decades of professional experience & international expertise serving the most discerning of guests, clients, and members.
Born in Switzerland, Chef Andreini began his culinary journey through formal apprenticeship, including time at the Montreux Palace. He is also currently helping build the American Master Chefs’ Order Assessment Program, which provides chefs preparing for the Certified Master Chef exam with focus, structure, and clarity. Chef Andreini was also part of the team of five Master Chefs who rewrote the new five-day CMC exam, and he continues to judge portions of the Certified Master Chef Exam.
Over the course of his career, Master Chef Andreini has worked in many of the different facets of the industry from teaching to high end hotels and private clubs. Prior to his recent retirement from operations, Olivier was the Executive Chef at the Bentwater Yacht and Country Club where he oversaw 3 outlets and managed a team of 22. Master Chef Andreini was also the Executive Chef at The Club at Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina and The Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pennsylvania.
Before his transitions to Private Club Operations, Chef Andreini was a Professor in Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America. His career has also included serving 8 years as Executive Chef at Dubrulle French Culinary School in Vancouver, Canada. Master Chef Andreini’s career has led him to be a Chef Instructor at the Villa Delia, a Culinary School in Pisa, Italy, a restaurant consultant, Club consultant restaurant co-owner and was on the editorial board for the American Culinary Federations Sizzle Magazine as well as being a certified judge for the ACF.
Among Chef Andreini’s many crowning achievements, he passed the Certified Master Chef exam and became one of the 84 CMC’s to pass the exam since the inception of the program in 1974
