This interactive workshop lead by renowned chef and foraging expert, Bill Jones will take you into the forests around North Arm Farm to forage for local ingredients to be used to compliment the menu for Canada’s Largest Family Meal. If you plan to take in this workshop, you will need to bring a basket and small pocket knife. Space will be limited for this workshop but luckily Bill is hosting on September 13 + 14.

Bill Jones is the chef owner of Deerholme Farm and the author of 12 cookbooks (including four books on foraging and mushrooms), winner of multiple world cookbook awards, and a renowned chef and foraging expert. His Vancouver Island farm kitchen hosts dinners,
cooking classes and wild food foraging workshops. Bill has been featured in esteemed
publications such as the New York Times, Gourmet, Bon Appetit and Saveur Magazine.
Jones is also a French-trained chef who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants and prestigious locations around the world. Bill was a long time judge for the Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards and The Canadian Cookbook Awards. Now home in the Cowichan Valley of BC, Bill has built a reputation as a chef, teacher. supporter of local food and environmental steward.
